I already use another payroll provider but would like to switch, how easy is it to switch?

This takes one email confirming you would like to switch to us and who your current provider is. Once this has been received, we will take care of everything.

I currently process the payroll in house, how easy is it to switch?

We would need to log in to your system to transfer all data to our secure servers. Once this is done, we take care of everything.

Do I have to switch at the start of the new tax year?

No, we can transfer your payroll at any time. We liaise directly with your current provider and ensure all the information is transferred over accurately and securely.

Are there any hidden fees?

There are no hidden fees and everything is transparently laid out on our pricing page or in our initial proposal.
In extremely rare cases, we may need to charge an additional fee if your requirements are bespoke.

Do you charge any setup fees?

No set up fees at all unless your requirements are bespoke.

What if I don’t have a payroll setup?

We will automatically set up a PAYE scheme on your behalf.

How are payslips sent out?

Via our secure Employee Portal (included)
Posted directly to Employer’s address (incurs additional cost)
Posted directly to Employee’s home address (incurs additional cost)

How quickly will our payroll be processed?

We will set up a service level agreement with dates and times to ensure it works for you.

Our guarantee is 5 working days.

Can our employees contact Intelligent Payroll directly?

Unfortunately we ask that all queries go to a point of contact in the business in the first instance. We can then help the main employer contact with any queries.

Can Intelligent Payroll pay our employees directly?

Yes, we can automatically disperse all payments without a Service User Number (SUN) through secure Open Banking API.

Is there a minimum contract period I have to sign up for?

You automatically sign up for a monthly rolling contract that you can cancel at any time providing a minimum of a month’s notice.

Please note that you may choose to sign up for an annual contract which provides a small discount.

An employee requires past payslips for a mortgage application, how do I access these?

The employee will have access to their portal and can print off all payslips required, however you are also able to log in here and download them.

Which pension providers do you support?

We support all the popular pension providers but our system can cope with any bespoke requirements.

I’m sold. How quickly can we get set up?

As long as the payroll information is readily available, our maximum onboarding time is 10 working days, however, we currently average 5 working days.
